NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 26 include Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

LeBron James returned to the lineup on Friday night for the Los Angeles Lakers after missing five games with an adductor strain but it remained the Anthony Davis show in Los Angeles. Davis averaged a staggering 33.2 points and 17.4 rebounds per game while James was gone and he put up 25 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three blocks in LeBron’s return against the Spurs. Now Los Angeles will take on San Antonio once again on Saturday night and Davis is sure to be a popular option for NBA DFS lineups.

However, affording superstars like Davis, James and Devin Booker means that you’ll have to make salary cap sacrifices elsewhere. So where can you find value in a relatively shallow NBA DFS player pool with only three primetime games on the NBA schedule? Before making any NBA DFS picks for Saturday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Friday, he highlighted Warriors guard Stephen Curry as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Curry had 33 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals to return 49.75 points on DraftKings and 46 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Saturday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, November 26

For Saturday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr., who is listed at $8,400 on DraftKings and $8,000 on FanDuel. The 22-year-old is already in his fourth NBA season but he’s starting to prove that he could be an important part of the long-term plan for Houston. Porter is averaging a career-high 19.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and his 6.1 assists per game ranks 19th in the NBA.

He’s becoming a fairly regular triple-double threat with three double-doubles under his belt in his last seven games where he’s been within three rebounds or assists of hitting the mark. Now Porter takes on a Thunder squad that ranks 29th in the NBA in points allowed per game (118.3) and both teams rank top 10 in the NBA in pace so it promises to be an up-and-down affair that plays into Porter’s skillset.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($10,600 on DraftKings and $10,600 on FanDuel). Gilgeous-Alexander has been carrying Oklahoma City all season and is now averaging 31.0 points, 6.3 assists. 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 51.2% from the floor.

He’s topped the 30-point mark in 13 of the 18 games that he’s played this season but he’s also contributing in a number of other ways that have made him one of the biggest NBA DFS assets. He’s had 14 multi-steal games, 14 games with at least five assists, 11 games with at least five rebounds and has registered a block in 15 games.
