The San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich – the winningest and oldest coach in NBA history – has signed a new five-year contract extension with the franchise.

The new deal is worth $80 million, tweets ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, surpassing the record six-year, $78 million deal that Monty Williams got from the Detroit Pistons last month.
