Vitaly Savitskiy responded with 22 points and 5 assists. Novosybirsk have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Rusichi K. still closes the standings. Novosybirsk will meet at home Dinamo (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rusichi will play against Chelbasket (#14) in Chelyabinsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Bottom-ranked Rusichi (0-17) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-67 loss to fifth ranked Novosybirsk (12-5) in Kursk on Saturday evening. There was no surprise in Saint Petersburg where 14th ranked Chelbasket (5-12) was edged by eleventh ranked Zenit-2 (8-9) 66-65 on Saturday. Guard Konstantin Shevchuk (189-2000) stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center Egor Ryzhov (203-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Zenit-2’s coach Anton Yudin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Sergey Mikhalev (194-1993) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Dmitriy Zlobin (187-1988) scored 7 points and 8 assists. Dinamo outrebounded MBA-2 33-20 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international center Andrey Desiatnikov (220-1994, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) stepped up and scored 9 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and forward Alexandr Lavnikov (205-1991) chipped in 13 points. Irkut – Kupol-Rodniki 84-78

Very expected game in Irkutsk where 11th ranked Kupol-Rodniki (7-10) was defeated by fourth ranked Irkut (12-5) 84-78 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great shooting night for Irkut especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage.
