Moody’s path to consistent minutes with the Warriors has been a long, winding one. Part of his uptick in usage this season has a lot to do with newly established trust from Kerr and his teammates. Even though Moody was a lottery pick, the faith his team now has in him had to be earned. “To be a part of this team you have to do more than get drafted,” Moody told the Chronicle. “It takes time. These are really smart players, really smart coaches, really smart people in general. They’re really observant. You can’t trick anybody on Day 1 and they believe in you. You have to show who you are over a long period of time. And the easiest way to do that is to just be that person.” -via San Francisco Chronicle / October 29, 2023
