International Power forward Kregor Hermet (205-PF-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league’s leader Kalev/Cramo and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 24-year old power forward had the game-high 30 points adding six rebounds for Kalev/Cramo in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Parnu (#4, 16-13) with 27-point margin 91-64. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed Kalev/Cramo to consolidate first place in the Estonian KML. Kalev/Cramo have a solid 27-4 record. In the team’s last game Hermet had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It’s his second year at Kalev/Cramo and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Kregor Hermet averages this season 12.1ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young American forward Demajeo Wiggins (208-F-1997) of Rapla. Wiggins impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Rapla to edge slightly lower-ranked Tartu (#6, 11-19) by 1 point 77-76. Rapla’s 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 12-16 record. Wiggins is a newcomer at Rapla and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#3). He also registered 12.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Kalev/Cramo’s star – international center Rauno Nurger (208-C-1993). Nurger scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was another key player of Kalev/Cramo, helping his team with a 87-58 easy win against the lower-ranked Tartu (#6, 11-19). Kalev/Cramo confirms their top position in the standings. Nurger has a very solid season. In 7 games in Estonia he scored 8.7ppg. He also has 4.6rpg and FGP: 72.7%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
