Tyrese Haliburton: 'A lot of my hoop knowledge in knowing how to play comes from video games'

It had never really occurred to Haliburton to slow down. He was taught that the game is an open floor, and he learned to read it with the help of a PlayStation. “Honestly, a lot of my hoop knowledge in knowing how to play comes from video games,” he says. “When you’re playing 2K and you’re on that camera angle where you can see everything ahead of you, that’s how I think sometimes.”

Most players are brought in to fill a role or address a weakness. The Pacers brought in Tyrese Haliburton to change everything. My feature on the magnetic young point guard shifting his whole franchise into overdrive: theringer.com/nba/2023/11/13…9:24 AM

Sixers beat the Pacers 137-126. The Pacers found better formulas late, but a slow start cost them, and the Sixers were better in the final minutes.
Haliburton had 25 and 17, but Maxey and Embiid combined for 87. They were excellent. Pacers are 6-4. Another one in Philly Tuesday. – 8:19 PM
