The Truth Behind Claims Orlando Fired Staffer Who Posted NSFW Jersey Swap

The NBA social media world went into a frenzy over a NSFW jersey swap on Sunday and there were wild rumors a Magic staffer was fired because they posted it.

Toronto’s Gradey Dick and Orlando’s Anthony Black did a jersey swap we’ve all been waiting for.

The photo blew up on social media.

The Magic put up the photo on their socials and captioned it “Class of 23”, but it didn’t stay up for very long.

A photo then did the rounds on X / Twitter which showed a job listing for a social position at the Orlando franchise.

The post said the job was added “four minutes ago”, but someone had clearly edited it to make it appear that way.

Savvy users then did some investigating and found that yes, the job ad does exist, but it was first advertised two days prior to the game between the Raptors and the Magic.

The NSFW swap seemed to be a pre-planned thing between Black and Dick.

Many of the comments on social media contained the sentiment “they knew what they were doing”.

Despite the post being too X-rated for the Magic, Dick continued the joke on his personal social media pages.

He posted the pic to his Instagram and captioned it, “Always good seeing my boy! @anthonyblack.”

Dick already won over the Toronto fans on Draft night and rapper Drake is a huge fan of his.

No doubt his stock will only increase with the way he’s made light of the NSFW swap.
