Ray Allen sends message to Steph Curry before breaking 3-point record

Steph Curry is set to complete a historic feat in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks. After nearly 11 years, Ray Allen is about to see his career 3-point record fall Tuesday night.

Allen made 2,973 threes in his 18-year career, while Steph Curry is ready to surpass him in the 13th season of his illustrious NBA career.

Ahead of Curry taking the court at MSG, Allen sent his good luck and well wishes to the Warriors superstar on Instagram. 

Ray Allen hinted he may be in attendance tonight, while Reggie Miller, who held the record for 13 seasons, before Allen will also be there a color analyst for TNT’s broadcast of the game.
