Patrick Beverley went viral when he hit LeBron James with a “too small” celebration after scoring on him in the dying minutes of the Bulls’ 118-108 win over the Lakers on Sunday.
Beverley was even more fired up than usual thanks to playing his first game against the Lakers since they traded him at the deadline, and he addressed taunting James in his postgame media availability.
“I do it to everybody, we’re just having fun, getting lost in the game,” Beverley said.
“We’re not construction workers. We’re not guys that have to get up at 4 o’clock in the morning. We’re professional basketball players. It’s all about having fun and that’s what we try to do. That’s what I try to do.”
James wasn’t the only person on the receiving end of a Beverley troll, with Pat Bev also holding his nose while glaring at Shannon Sharpe as if to let him know the Lakers stink.

He also has the third-highest win percentage against LeBron (62.5%) among active players to have faced him at least 15 times.
