Tre Johnson announced his commitment to Texas on Wednesday, choosing the Longhorns over Baylor.
Johnson is ranked as the No. 4 player in the ESPN 100 for the 2024 class.
“There’s no NBA team in Austin. The fans give great support, and the Moody Center gets loud. I like their culture,” said Johnson, who announced his commitment on The Pat McAfee Show.
Texas now has three recruits inside the ESPN top 100 for 2024.
