American-Slovenian Center Jordan Morgan (204-C-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for Konyaspor, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, six rebounds and five assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Tofas (#10, 1-1) 80-66. Konyaspor maintains the 4th position in Turkish BSL. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Konyaspor won both games without losing any. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Morgan turned to be Konyaspor’s top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Michigan star has very solid stats this year. Morgan is league’s best scorer averaging so far 25.0ppg. Morgan is in league’s top in and averages impressive 63.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round’s games was young international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-PG-1996) of Darussafaka. Ozdemiroglu had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 10 assists. Of course he led Darussafaka to another comfortable win 93-80 over Merkezefendi (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let’s wait for the next round. Ozdemiroglu is one of the most experienced players at Darussafaka and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#6). He also recorded 8.5 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was French center Jerry Boutsiele (208-C-1994) of Bahcesehir (#7). Boutsiele scored 15 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Bahcesehir, leading his team to a 78-73 win against Gaziantep (#15, 0-2). Bahcesehir needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Boutsiele has a great season in Turkey. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 11.5rpg (3rd best).

5. Demetre Rivers (203-F-1995) of Buyukcekmece – 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Gabriel Olaseni (211-C-1991) of Darussafaka – 17 points and 9 rebounds
7. O.D. Anosike (203-F/C-1991) of Manisa – 17 points and 8 rebounds
8. Zach Auguste (208-C-1993) of Bursaspor – 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Scottie Wilbekin (188-G-1993) of Fenerbahce – 18 points and 3 assists
10. Will Clyburn (201-F-1990) of Anadolu Efes – 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
