Marcus Smart missed Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals with an ankle sprain. Smart suffered the injury in Game 3 and returned to the game after being carried to the locker room.
“Pretty swollen, but he’s a guy who plays through a lot,” Ime Udoka said about Smart’s ankle.
Smart also missed Game 1 due to a foot sprain.
Derrick White will start for the Celtics in place of Smart.
