Jean-Michel Mipoka

Entente Orleans 45 (ProB) signed experienced 36-year old naturalized Congolese small forward Jean-Michel Mipoka (198cm-1985) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Mipoka has played for the last two years at FOS Provence Basket in the Betclic ELITE ProA. In 31 games he had 6.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.1apg last season. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was a member of French U20 National Team back in 2005.
Mipoka has spent his entire career in France playing for eight other teams: Pau Lacq Orthez, Olympique Antibes, Cholet Basket, Gravelines Dunkerque, Chorale de Roanne, Sluc Nancy, Saint Vallier and Quimper UJAP. He won French ProB championship title in 2012 and 2021 and made it to the cup final in 2012 and 2014.
It’s very possible he may end his playing career at Orleans.
