An MRI performed on Friday on Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen unveiled a re-aggravation of an impingement in his right shoulder, as announced by the team.
Doctors intend to reassess Markkanen in two weeks, effectively concluding his season. The discomfort in Markkanen’s shoulder emerged after he played 42 minutes in Wednesday’s game against San Antonio, the Jazz further elaborated.
Earlier this month, Markkanen was sidelined for over two weeks due to a right quadriceps contusion.
