Knicks Expect Mitchell Robinson To Miss Season, Apply For Disabled Player Exception Worth $7.8M

The New York Knicks project that Mitchell Robinson will miss the rest of the season after undergoing left ankle surgery, sources told Shams Charania and Fred Katz of The Athletic.

The Knicks applied for a disabled player exception worth $7.8 million.

Jericho Sims is also expected to miss the next 1-2 weeks with a right ankle sprain.

The Knicks signed Taj Gibson to a one-year deal last week.
