The Sacramento Kings have signed Skal Labissiere. Sacramento plans to soon waive Labissiere, as the sequence of transactions was designed to get the big man to the Stockton Kings of the G League.
Labissiere is a former 2016 first-round pick. He was selected for the Kings in a pre-arranged draft-day trade with the Phoenix Suns.
Labissiere played in nine games for the Mexico City Capitanes of the G League last season. The 6-foot-11 center averaged 8.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 23.7 minutes per game.
