Damian Lillard has been copping a lot of hate online after he requested a trade away from Portland and his USA teammate Kevin Durant has been online defending him.
KD is someone who knows a fair bit about requesting trades since he did so in dramatic fashion at Brooklyn last season.
Durant is known for engaging with fans on social media and there was one comment about Lillard he felt the need to reply to.
Lol 1 or 2 more years Lmao. What do u be watching gang seriously.

KD does have a point. Lillard is coming off one of his best NBA seasons to date.
Dame averaged a career-high 32.2 points, to go with 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists on 46.3 percent shooting from the field.
Those are some wildly efficient numbers, so it would be quite surprising to see a large dip in performance in a year or two from Lillard.
The 32-year-old has made it abundantly clear that he didn’t want to stick around at the Blazers to see young talent develop, as he wanted a win-now team.
But the franchise clearly has other ideas as they opted to keep their number two draft pick Scoot Henderson.
Lillard even took to social media himself this week defending himself and trying to understand why he was copping so much hate from Blazer’s fans – since he made his intentions clear from the start.
“It’s in my blood to take the high road. I’d love to hear what fans are turning on… have I mislead them? Or anyone ? Fill me in,” Lillard tweeted in response to a fans comment.
Miami is Dame’s clear favorite landing spot, but the Blazers reportedly don’t give a damn.
“The Blazers’ front office, their organization made it clear to teams who called yesterday about Damian Lillard that they are open for business everywhere in the league on him,” Wojnarowski said Sunday morning on ESPN.
