The Lakers will face the Pelicans in New Orleans later today for a game that is very important to both teams. The neighbours of the Western Conference standings both are looking for a win to further secure their place in the play-in tournament.
According to the NBA, the Lakers could be without LeBron James (left knee soreness/effusion) and Dwight Howard (hip soreness) as both of them are listed as questionable while Talen Horton-Tucker (left ankle sprain) is listed as probable.
Los Angeles will miss Anthony Davis (right mid-foot sprain) and Kendrick Nunn (right knee bone bruise) as both players are out with long-term injuries.
For the Pelicans CJ McCollum (left ankle sprain) and Jonas Valanciunas (right foot soreness) are listed as questionable and Larry Nance Jr. is doubtful, per Will Guillory. New Orleans will most likely have Brandon Ingram who was upgraded to probable.
