How to watch Rockets vs. Grizzlies: TV channel, NBA live stream info, start time

Who’s Playing

Memphis @ Houston

Current Records: Memphis 44-21; Houston 15-48

What to Know

The Memphis Grizzlies might have tired legs after a game yesterday as they head on the road against the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. ET March 6 at Toyota Center. Memphis won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an 11-point advantage in the spread.

The Grizzlies were the big favorite in their most recent matchup, and for good reason. They were the clear victors by a 124-96 margin over the Orlando Magic. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 68-45. The Grizz can attribute much of their success to shooting guard Desmond Bane, who had 24 points along with six rebounds, and point guard Ja Morant, who had 25 points and seven assists.

Meanwhile, the contest between Houston and the Denver Nuggets this past Friday was not a total blowout, but with the Rockets falling 116-101 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. Point guard Kevin Porter wasn’t much of a difference maker for Houston; Porter finished with only nine points on 3-for-12 shooting in his 31 minutes on the court.

This next contest looks promising for Memphis, who are favored by a full 11 points. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (27-13), so they might be worth a quick bet.

Memphis’ victory lifted them to 44-21 while Houston’s defeat dropped them down to an irreparable 15-48. Allowing an average of 117.95 points per game, Houston hasn’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming contest.
