Despite James Harden’s expressed desire to join the Clippers, the 76ers are yet to be swayed by the offers currently on the table.
NBA insider Shams Charania recently shed light on the specifics of the Clippers’ trade proposals for Harden, indicating that they have been offering an unprotected first-round pick along with a pick swap to secure the former MVP’s services.
However, the 76ers appear to place a higher value on acquiring Terance Mann, as well as seeking multiple first-round draft picks in the trade.
Adrian Wojnarowski, another prominent NBA insider, noted that the Clippers are eager to finalize a deal for Harden “sooner, rather than later.”
Despite their desire to bring Harden to LA, the team is reluctant to sweeten their offer further, particularly given that they are currently the sole bidder in the trade negotiations.
