The Detroit Pistons are signing Chimezie Metu to a two-year deal. Metu completed a 10-day deal with Detroit on Friday.
Metu’s new deal with the Pistons will include a team option for next season. In six games with Detroit, Metu averaged 7.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 26 minutes per game.
Metu previous played for the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings. He played 37 games for the Phoenix Suns this season, before being traded to and waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.
