The Phoenix Suns are likely to be without a key offseason addition on opening night. Bradley Beal is dealing with a back injury and is like to miss the Suns opener at the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
Phoenix acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards for a package that included Chris Paul and several second-round draft picks. Beal is expected to team with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker to form a deadly offensive trio for the Suns. That debut now looks like it will have to wait, as Phoenix plans to be cautious with Beal, as he recovers from this back injury.
