Goran Filipovic
Twarde Pierniki Torun (EBL) tabbed 26-year old Croatian international 183cm point guard Goran Filipovic, agency: 011 Sports for new season. Filipovic played most recently at Leyma Basquet Coruna in Spanish LEB Gold. In 38 games he averaged 8.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.4apg and 1.1spg last season.
He has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. Filipovic has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2021 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
He represented Croatia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Chalkida (Greece) seven years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 7.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.7apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 48.4%, 3PT: 37.5%, FT: 66.7%.
Filipovic has played also professionally in Bosnia (Siroki), Romania (Craiova) and Croatia (Split and KK Cedevita Junior Zagreb). He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Guard of the Year back in 2019 and 2020.
Filipovic played in the final of Croatian Cup (Kresimir Cosic Cup) in 2022.
