28-year old point guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-PG-1994) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked King and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
He had the game-high 27 points adding six rebounds and eight assists for King in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Trefl (#7, 17-12) 91-86. King maintains the 2nd position in Polish league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. King will need more victories to improve their 21-8 record. Mazurczak turned to be King’s top player in his first season with the team. University of Wisconsin Parkside graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mazurczak is in league’s top in assists (3rd best: 6.9apg) and averages solid 53.8% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Adam Kemp (208-F-1990) of Sokol. He is American forward in his first season at Sokol. In the last game Kemp recorded impressive 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Sokol was edged by the higher-ranked Spojnia (#5, 18-11) 83-79. Sokol is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 10-19 record. Kemp is a newcomer at Sokol and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Victor Sanders (196-SG-1995) of Anwil (#6). Sanders got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He was a key player of Anwil, leading his team to a 110-86 easy win against the lower-ranked Arka (#10, 11-18). Anwil needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 12 lost games. Sanders has a great season in Poland.
