Broncos-BBC-de-Caracas (SPB) tabbed 32-year old former Venezuelan-Croatian international 203cm forward Juan Coronado (college: Liberty) for new season. Coronado played most recently at CB Cornella in Spanish LEB Silver, but left. In four games he averaged 5.0ppg and 6.3rpg last season.
He was a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Coronado was called to Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2012 and 2016 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. Coronado is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Huracan), Chile (Puente Alto and Ancud), Mexico (Libertadores), Uruguay (Olimpia), Venezuela (Guaiqueries and Bucaneros) and Dominican Republic (CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago) and Spain (Zornotza).
His college team made it to the Venezuelan LPB Cup Final Four in 2019.
Coronado graduated from Liberty University in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
