Hellenic-Coin-Ionikos-Basketball (GBL) added to their roster experienced 38-year old 205cm power forward Nikos Angelopoulos, agency: Interperformances. He started the season at Megaridas in Elite League. He helped his team get promotion to Elite League. Angelopoulos has played there for the last three years.
He was a member of Greek U21 National Team back in 2005.
Angelopoulos has spent his entire career in Greece playing for eight other teams: Panionios, Ionikos Nikaias, Ilysiakos, Ethnikos, Koroivos, Aigaleo, Rethymno and Kavalas. His team made it to the League Semifinals in 2007, 2008 and 2013.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Ionikos.
