19-year old power forward Lazar Vukcevic (203-PF-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for Podgorica 2 and receives a Hoops Agents Prva B Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Balkanski Ris (#8, 5-4) with 20-point margin 92-72. Podgorica 2 is placed at 4th position in Montenegrin Prva B. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Podgorica 2 will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team’s last game Vukcevic had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at Podgorica 2 and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Lazar Vukcevic averages this season 16.8ppg and 8.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Andrija Starcevic of Rudar. He is a in his first season at Rudar. In the last game Starcevic recorded impressive 33 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Rudar lost that game 67-118 to the higher-ranked Lim (#2, 8-1). Rudar is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. 9 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Starcevic is a newcomer at Rudar and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Radomir Kruska (203-PF-1996) of Akademik (#9). Kruska scored 24 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Kruska’s great performance Akademik lost 67-88 to the higher-ranked Montenegro (#3, 7-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Akademik not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kruska could try to bring Akademik’s a little bit higher in the standings. Kruska has individually a great season in Montenegro. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 9.7rpg (5th best).
