KK ABS Primorje 1945 Herceg Novi (Erste Liga) inked experienced 35-year old Bosnian ex-international 201cm forward Bozo Djurasovic for upcoming season. He has played for the last two years at Leotar in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 31 games he recorded 14.1ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.8apg last season. Great year indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Djurasovic was a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina international program for some years. He was called to Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior National Team between 2010 and 2011 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2005.
Djurasovic is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Quimper UJAP), Germany (46ers and Tigers), Hungary (Duna Aszfalt), Romania (Craiova and CSM Steaua Bucuresti), Serbia (KK Dynamic Vip Pay Beograd), Ukraine (Polit-Halychyna), Bosnia (Bosna-Royal, HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar and Vogosca) and Switzerland (Monthey). His team won Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in 2009 and 2010.
Djurasovic’s game is described as:
Bozo Djurasovic is athletic small forward with great attitude. True fighter, playing hard on both sides of the floor. Djurasovic is formidable defender, average shooter and good rebounder. Because of his athleticism can be also used as power forward although he is not that skilled in a low post. In youth selections and at the start of his pro career he was playing only position 4 which affected his small forward skills.
