International Forward Bozo Djurasovic (201-F-1987) had a great game in the last round for Leotar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9 (Second Stage).
The 34-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, seven rebounds and two assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Spars (4-5) 104-95. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Leotar is placed at 3rd position in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. Leotar is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 9 games. In the team’s last game Djurasovic had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Leotar, through which he has constantly improved. Bozo Djurasovic averages this season 14.1ppg and 6.3rpg.
The second best player in last round’s games was young Croatian Marko Ramljak (201-G/F-1993, agency: Interperformances) of Spars. Ramljak had a very good evening with 24 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Spars lost that game 95-104 to slightly higher-ranked Leotar (4-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Spars still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 4-5 record. Ramljak is one of the most experienced players at Spars and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian forward Stefan Kenic (204-F-1997) of Borac BL (#5). Kenic scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Borac BL, leading his team to a 75-71 win against slightly lower-ranked Sloboda T. (#6, 2-7). The chances of Borac BL not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kenic could try to bring Borac BL’s a little bit higher in the standings. Kenic has a very solid season. In 29 games in Bosnia he scored 11.7ppg. He also has 4.3rpg, FGP: 57.4% and 3PT: 44.4%.
