Zadar upset Split on the road to advance into the Finals. Zadar made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Split only scored eight points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was international guard Dominik Mavra (195-1994) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). American center Trevor Thompson (210-1994, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) who recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Kosovan Shawn Jones (203-1992, college: MTSU) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Split’s coach Srdjan Subotic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help.
