Power forward Kevin Yebo (207-PF-1996) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked NINERS Chemnitz, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (33 points, seven rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush Bamberg (#12, 10-14) with 22-point margin 106-84. It allowed Chemnitz to consolidate first place in the German BBL. Chemnitz have a solid 20-4 record. In the team’s last game Yebo had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at Chemnitz and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Kevin Yebo has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (6th best: 17.3ppg) and averages impressive 70.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round’s games was young American Otis Livingston II (180-PG-1996) of s.Oliver Wuerzburg. Livingston II had a very good evening with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led s Oliver Baskets to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Hamburg (#9, 12-10) 96-76. Wuerzburg’s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team’s 18-6 record is not bad at all. Livingston II is a newcomer at Wuerzburg, but is already one of team’s top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#1). He also recorded 5.6 assists per game.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
