This was an impressive game for American Malik Riddle (193-G-1999, college: HSU) as the 25 year old power forward had 43 points when his team Athleta beat Hibernians 86 to 76. Riddle had a strong performance. Also, he was awarded Player Of the Week in the Maltese League. Riddle is the 2nd best scorer in the league averaging over 33 points and over 8 rebounds per game.
He took part in the Eurobasket Summer League in Atlanta last year and it helped him to gain more exposure and find a contract overases. The summer league is an interesting option for the players who just graduated from university and want to make it to professional basketball.
He was selected to All-GAC Honorable Mention in 2022 at Riddle’s college time.
