Another interesting game for Mega BG (8-7) which played in Cacak against 6th ranked Borac (7-8). Eighth ranked Mega BG had an easy win 94-78. It was a great evening for Croatian forward Andrija Jelavic (207-2004) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Uros Plavsic helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American point guard Ronaldo Segu (183-1999, college: Buffalo) with 17 points and 6 assists. Mega BG have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zadar. Borac at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with S.Centar. Mega BG’s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd FMP BG.

Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains fourth place with 10-5 record. Mornar lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Buducnost will meet Krka (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mornar will play against Zadar and hope to win that game.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 15: Cibona beat FMP BG on the road 77-72. Igokea lost to Split on its own court 77-80. Krka was outscored by Partizan in Beograd 76-96. Zadar managed to beat S.Centar at home 79-73.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals by Luka Bozic of Zadar.



Borac CA – Mega BG 78-94

Another interesting game for Mega BG (8-7) which played in Cacak against 6th ranked Borac (7-8). Eighth ranked Mega BG had an easy win 94-78. Mega BG shot 64.9 percent from the field. Mega BG outrebounded Borac 40-20 including a 34-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mega BG shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. But FMP BG was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Zagreb 77-72 on Friday night. Cibona outrebounded FMP BG 40-21 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cibona looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Jakov Mustapic (192-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB, agency: BIG) accounted for 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Four Split players scored in double figures. Swingman Edin Atic (201-1997) came up with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Serbian swingman Marko Jeremic (192-1991) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for Igokea in the defeat.
