Galatasaray Ekmas Istanbul (BSL) signed 24-year old American center David McCormack (208cm-120kg-1999, college: Kansas). McCormack already started the season at Darussafaka in the BSL. In 10 games he had 13.7ppg and 9.8rpg. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 12.2ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.2spg.
McCormack has played previously professionally in NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won NCAA championship title in 2022. He was voted All-Big 12 Most Improved Player of the Year in 2021.
McCormack graduated from University of Kansas in 2022 and it is his second season as a professional player.
