There was a minor upset in Saint Petersburg where 6th ranked Parma-2 (5-5) was crushed by ninth ranked Zenit-2 (5-5) 75-53. Zenit-2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for center Vladislav Samukhin (210-2004) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Mikhail Dulkay (198-2005) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Gleb Firsov (208-2005) answered with 10 points and 6 rebounds and forward Mikhail Stafeev (198-2005) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Parma-2. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Lokomotiv-2 and Parma-2.
