Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zenit (12-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending Russian champion maintains second place behind leader CSKA. MBA Moscow lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Zenit will meet Parma-Pari (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. MBA Moscow will play against Samara (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 15 winless Astana was smashed by CSKA on the road 110-50.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 24 points and 5 assists by Casper Ware of CSKA.

CSKA – Astana 110-50

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Russian CSKA (13-1) crushed bottom-ranked Kazakhstan Astana (0-15) in Moscow 110-50 on Saturday. CSKA made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Astana turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. CSKA shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Astana‘s players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when CSKA made 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Casper Ware (178-1990, college: LBSU) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 assists. Serbian guard Aleksa Avramovic (193-1994) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five CSKA players scored in double figures.
