Aris Midea Thessaloniki (GBL) signed 24-year old American guard Trey Woodbury (193cm-91kg-1999, college: Utah Valley) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Woodbury played this summer at Indiana Pacers in the NBA Summer League. In two games just recently he had 3.5ppg and 1.0rpg. The last season he played at Bamberg Baskets in German BBL where in 34 NBA Summer League games he recorded 14.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.2apg. He helped them to make it to the German Bundesliga Cup Semifinals. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention. His team made it to the WAC Tournament Semifinals in 2021 and 2023.
Woodbury was also voted Nevada’s Gatorade Player of the Year back in 2018.
He graduated from Utah Valley University in 2023 and it will be his second season as a professional player. Woodbury played also for University of Nevada – Las Vegas for one year.
