The Los Angeles Lakers are 2-3 this season after falling against the Oklahoma City Thunder, despite holding a massive 26-point lead. According to Kent Bazemore, who had 11 points in this game, the Lakers could not keep their focus after creating a comfortable lead early on.
He thinks that the presence of LeBron James, who was out as he is dealing with an ankle injury, would have helped the team concentrated and blow the lead.
“We were without our head honcho tonight, the guy who would have kept us even keeled out there in Bron,” Bazemore said postgame. There’s a lot to learn. A lot of guys getting minutes.
“We’re getting better, the schemes are coming together. A lot of good things from each night. That’s all you can pretty much work on, just to continue moving forward, get back home, enjoy your family, see your family, get ready to go again.”
