The Washington Wizards have waived guard Erik Stevenson, a move that clears a spot on their preseason roster while keeping him within the organization’s developmental system.
Although Stevenson won’t be part of the Wizards’ final NBA roster, he is expected to join their G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, for the upcoming season.
Stevenson, known for his scoring ability and defensive tenacity, will look to hone his skills in the G League, where he can play a significant role in the Go-Go’s backcourt rotation.
