Golden State Warriors have officially announced that Klay Thompson will play vs the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
The All-Star guard returns to the lineup after 941 days and will make his season debut with the Warriors. Klay Thompson hasn’t played since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, due to a couple of very serious injuries.
The All-Star guard has his sights set on helping Golden State return to the NBA Finals. Currently, the franchise has the second-best record in the West (29-9). Thompson will be a starter in his first game back with the team.
