Iowa advanced to the WNCAA March Madness Final Four for the second consecutive year after beating LSU 94-87 Monday night behind Caitlin Clark’s 41-point game.
Clark exploded for 41 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds, and nine threes, scoring more than half of Hawkeyes total points.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Clark’s generational performance in the Elite Eight.

Kim Mulkey on what she told Caitlin Clark in the handshake line: “I sure am glad you leaving. Girl, you something else. Never seen anything like it.” 😅 pic.twitter.com/tIaW8ASBLD

Caitlin Clark created, assisted, or scored 73 points in Iowa’s Elite 8 win.

Might as well call Caitlin Clark the Washington Post, because Mulkey doesn’t have an answer for her yet.

Caitlin Clark = Must-Three TV

That was ridiculous. Caitlin Clark’s range is somewhere around “I’m driving to the arena and I’ll be there soon”

The made zero adjustments. Should’ve blitz Clark 2 take the🏀 out of her hands. Johnson should’ve started on her. Iowa was better tm 2nite. https://t.co/MlM6HkAhzP

We can officially quit putting Angel Reese on Caitlin Clark’s level. Stop it. One is an all-time great player. The other got famous for taunting. The rivalry is dead.

Was I ever wrong about Iowa. I had LSU by 10. Maybe Angel Reese’s ankle bothered her. But what bothered LSU most were 9 threes and 12 assists from Caitlin Clark, who just took the game over in the 3rd w 4 threes and ultimately broke LSU’s will. She has extreme skills and will.

Generational performance by Caitlin Clark, not only dropping 40, but putting out a defending national champion. Iowa deserves to talk alllllllll the shit.

Caitlin Clark reminds me so much of 2017-2018 LeBron. Just out there taking her teammates to the promise land
