Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is a little lighter in the wallet after his last game on Wednesday. The NBA fined Young $25,000 for “confronting and directing inappropriate language toward a game official” in the Hawks loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
Young was upset several times throughout the game at what he thought were no-calls by the official. This included the game’s final play where Young thought he was fouled as he missed a potential game-winning shot. The Hawks star immediately began going at the officials about a lack of a call on the would-be buzzer-beater.
