The Chicago Bulls are off to a disappointing 3-6 start. At times, the Bulls have looked sluggish and lifeless in their games this season. That’s got other teams monitoring things in Chicago, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
“In talking to some people around the league, the scouts are jamming themselves into Bulls games because they realize that at some point, the Bulls may break this team up,” Windhorst recently said on NBA Today. “And they’re all gathering intelligence like, ‘What’s gonna happen with the Bulls?'”
DeMar DeRozan is in the final year of his three-year contract with Chicago. DeRozan and the Bulls are reportedly far apart in extension negotiations. The team has also been rumored to be receiving interest in Zach LaVine. LaVine is owed over $178 million through the 2026-27 season.
