Tara VanDerveer Announces Retirement As Head Coach Of Stanford

Tara VanDerveer has announced her retirement as head coach of Stanford.

Stanford will move to the ACC for the 24-25 season, creating a vastly different travel schedule for the team. Kate Paye is expected to replace VanDerveer.

VanDerveer retires as winner of three NCAA championships, 13 Final Fours and 27 Pac-12 regular season championships. 

VanDerveer also was head coach of Team USA when they won gold at the 1996 Olympics.
