The Warriors tied the first round series against the Kings with the second straight home win (126-125) behind 32 points by Steph Curry.
The four-time NBA champion played game-high 43 minutes. He was asked about if there is a different preparation for playing big minutes.
“It’s the whole routine and process of how you get ready for games, how you take care of yourself from a recovery standpoint in between games and in the game when you come out and whether it’s time out and you’re going back out there or your break’s coming being really intentional about maximizing the rest while you’re over there,” Curry said.
“I know my rotation when I’m most likely coming out quarters one, two, three and then based on how the game is being prepared to play the whole fourth. Like I did tonight and would have done had the game been closer in Game 3.
“I feel fine. It hasn’t been any conversations if I need to come out or I’m playing too much because you understand how important this moment is.”
Curry is averaging 31.5 points, 5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 39.5 minutes per game in the playoffs.
