Spurs, Devin Vassell agree to a five-year extension

Devin Vassell’s contract extension spans a straightforward five years, devoid of any options, and includes a guaranteed sum of $135 million.

Michael Scotto from HoopsHype, in his report on Twitter, indicates that guard/forward has the potential to add an extra $11 million through incentives.

Vassell was selected as the 11th overall pick in the 2020 draft following his two-year stint at Florida State.

During the 2022/23 season, the Georgia native experienced a significant performance surge, boasting averages of 18.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals with shooting percentages of .439/.387/.780.
