The San Antonio Spurs reportedly considered offering Austin Reaves a restricted free agency sheet for $21 million a season, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
The Spurs instead chose to preserve its cap space as a potential salary dump destination.
Scotto adds that the Rockets were also considering making Reaves an offer if Fred VanVleet didn’t sign with the team.
