Trail Blazers’ rookie Shaedon Sharpe will not take part in this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest in order to focus on the second half of t he season, Shams Charania reports.
The 19-year-old shooting guard will be replaced by Knicks center Jericho Sims. The other three participants are KJ Martin of the Rockets, New Orleans’ Trey Murphy and G League’s Mac McClung.
The AT&T Slam Dunk Contest will take place on February 18 at Vivint Arena, Salt Lake City.
