Kings head coach/former Warriors assistant Mike Brown was asked how his team reacted to him in the locker room after the big 122-115 home win vs. Golden State last night.
(via Fanatics View Hoops):
“They were great. Everybody was patting me on the back and all that. Even the fans were excited about it. They were like, ‘Kick your team’s behind!’ And all that. At the end of the day, I enjoy winning. I love that those guys felt that way for me. A lot of love and respect from each one of those guys. But I tell you what man, I’m so excited for those guys because of the work that they’ve put in and the connectivity that the group has. To be able to get a win this early in the year over the defending champions is big. It’s big for the organization. But, it’s extremely big to help with the belief. And a team that truly believes, is a dangerous, dangerous, frickin’ team.”
