The front office shake-up in Portland came shortly after the organization launched an investigation into the President of Basketball Operations and General Manager, Neil Olshey, for reportedly creating a toxic and hostile work environment.
The inquiry was expected to be wrapped up swiftly, but early this week, Haynes reported that the investigation into Olshey had been extended, interviewing individuals outside of personnel at the practice facility, including current and former employees.
The Blazers followed with a statement of their own, confirming that the transition will take place on November 26.
